AGRIDRONE

Agricultural field and plant health investigator

The aim of the project is to evaluate the health, growth & progress of the plants in the vast agricultural fields under several conditions of the nature substituting human presence which for human is very difficult to explore. We will use a quad-copter for aerial surveillance and record other atmospheric parameters necessary for crop growth. It would also be able to automatically spray pesticides over the crop field. Using on board sensors and some soil embedded sensors it would collect all the required data and plot a chart to state the health and growth of the crops over a period of time. This would help to manage the water and nutrition flow for a better production. It would reduce human effort for field surveying and managing the crop’s health and growth.

Agile Wedge Robot for Robowars Competitions

The objective of this project is to design, build and test a remotely controlled defensive type agile combat robot, which will participate in various Combat Robot competitions. All the necessary design considerations and safety of its components and necessary wedge angle calculations were obtained in order to get the optimal speed and maneuverability to crash into its opponent repeatedly with hope of damaging weapons and vital components.
